Large Country Garden In Hertfordshire

This was the third garden we have designed for these returning customers who had moved to a large residence only built within the last 10 years.

The existing landscaping was poorly constructed, and did little to enhance the property and soften the tall facades.

We redesigned every element of the gardens only keeping the existing tennis court and swimming pool. Modern materials, combined with extensive replanting created a much softer look to the exterior of the property. Western red cedar frames, a two level pool/water wall and tiered levels of planting aimed to reduce the visual impact of the tennis court, which dominated the existing garden.

Strong structural Yew “domes “ combined with multi stemmed trees were planted towards the front of the property to add year round interest and welcome the visitor to the property.
